Body and mind seminars

Held in the spring and fall, Midwest Buddhist
Temple's Body and Mind Seminars are a
one-day "intensive" in meditative practices for
body and mind, as well as providing instruction
in Buddha Dharma and instruction in yoga, tai chi and
ki-movement. These events are only open to a
limited number of participants via advance
registration. Contact the temple, 312-943-7801 for
details about upcoming Body and Mind
Seminars.

Yoga classes
Classes meet at 1 p.m. every Saturday and
are taught by Dr. Susan Gilkey. Beneficial for
beginners and continuing yoga students alike,
Dr. Gilkey's classes provide an excellent
training in body-mind coordination for all.

non-members is accepted per class. Contact the
temple office, 312-943-7801 for current times.

Special programs
Other special programs - including guest
speakers of different faiths and seminars by
notable teachers of Buddha Dharma -- are held
on an occasional basis by Midwest Buddhist
Temple. Check our information boards in the
Social Hall to learn who may be coming to
Midwest Buddhist Temple.

The temple also hosts tours to outside special
programs and groups who may be interested
in learning more about the temple and the
Buddhist faith.
