Directions to the Midwest Buddhist Temple

Driving Directions
Due to a number of one-way and divided residential streets, you should follow these directions closely. Take either Lake Shore Drive or the Kennedy to the North Avenue exit.

From East
Go west down North Avenue to Hudson Avenue. Turn right (north) on Hudson. The Temple parking lot is at the end of Hudson Avenue.

From West
Go east down North Avenue to Sedgwick Street. Turn Left (north) up Sedgwick to Eugenie Street. Turn Left (west) on Eugenie Street. Proceed to Hudson Avenue. Turn Right (north) on Hudson Avenue. The Temple parking lot is at the end of Hudson Avenue.

2300 N. Lincoln - Children's Memorial Hospital Parking Garage
Webster/Lincoln - Lincoln Park Hospital Parking Garage
Stockton/LaSalle - Chicago Historical Society Parking Facility
North/Wells - Piper's Alley Parking Garage.

Public Transportation
Major intersection is Sedgwick and Menomonee.

El and Subway
Brown Line to Sedgwick El Station, exit North Ave. and Sedgwick, north two blocks to Menomonee, left to the Temple entrance.

Red Line to Fullerton El Station, transfer to Brown Line.

Free Trolley Service (from Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Stops at both Sedgwick and Fullerton El Stations; Saturdays, Sundays runs every 15-20 minutes. See www.metrarail.com/Special_Promotions/trolley-2004.html for details or 1-877-244-2246.

Buses
(call 1-888-YourCTA) #22 Clark, #36 Broadway, #151 Sheridan, #172 North Ave, #11 Sedgwick (this is the closest bus stop at Sedgwick and Menomonee, one block east of the Temple).
