Buddhist wheel: A symbol of many teachings,
the wheel's spokes symbolize the Eightfold Path:
right views, right thoughts, right speech,
right action, right living, right effort, right
mindfulness and right meditation. Their equal
length represents justice. The tire surrounding
the spokes are a symbol of all-encompassing
wisdom. The hub is modesty and thoughtful-
ness. The axle is the bar of truth on which the
wheel turns.

Gold: This color is used because gold is
untarnished with age and, in a similar manner,
Buddha's teaching is forever pure and
untarnished.
